This 30-year-old woman was unhappy with the look of her nose so she began exploring Los Angeles rhinoplasty wanting to lift her drooping tip and reduce the hump on her bridge. She decided to contact Marina Plastic Surgery Associates after researching plastic surgeons.
When she came for her consultation, she explained her various concerns to her surgeon. After examining her nose, he told her that she could have either a closed or open rhinoplasty. Using an “open” incision method provides for more freedom when reshaping the nose, but produces a slight scar underneath the nose, while a “closed” incision produces no visible scar, but limits the surgeon’s movements. Depending on the amount of reshaping he would need to do, one method may be more desirable than others.
Her surgeon was able to improve the look of her nose by adjusting the tip and creating a more gradual slope, as can be seen in postoperative photos. Taken after she recovered from her Los Angeles plastic surgery, the photos show the dramatic improvement in her nose; her nose is more symmetrical and matches her features nicely.
